I also provide services for all of Virginia through online appointments. I’ve walked alongside people through times of stress, loss, anxiety, and relationship struggles.
My approach combines professional expertise with a personal understanding and respect for your unique journey. We’ll talk about what brings you here, your purpose, and what feels most important to you. My role is to listen deeply, invite mindfulness and make suggestions for a healthier and more satisfying life.
I hold degrees in psychology and counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and the Medical College of Virginia. I specialize in relationships and men’s issues (which I call “yin for men”). I offer individual counseling for adult men and women, relationship therapy, seminars, and support groups. I also teach mindfulness meditation and provide integrative health education services. I’m a graduate of the Professional Training Program of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine.

As an Imago therapist, I help you articulate your frustrations, and I help your partner hear them without defensiveness. I also help you both understand something extremely important about yourself and your partner so that a very powerful shift in consciousness can occur. My goal is for you to live and love again in a positive, safe, and rewarding relationship.
The newsletter suggests a simple practice each week that may bring you more joy, more fulfilling relationships, and more peace of mind and heart. The Wise Brain Bulletin is sent to you six times a year, both for free.
